I have had a bucket-list dream of traveling in an Airstream for a multimedia production assignment telling a story with photography and video. This has been a dream of mine for years and recently I had the opportunity to tell Midwest Farmer stories for PrairieFood.

I originally had the trip’s travel plans booked with my usual of airline, rental car, and lodging. With the considerations of Covid-19, I had travel concerns and realized this was a perfect opportunity to check off this major bucket-list item. I rented an Airstream and worked and lived in it for two weeks. Here is what I covered:

  1. Drove 4,500 miles, through 13 states

  2. Stayed in 12 cities over 14 nights

  3. Recorded over 1tb of video and photography

  4. Visited 7 farms.

  5. Photographed and interviewed 7 farmers on location, and capture their beautiful farms with a drone.

  6. Photographed and interviewed PrairieFood’s CEO

  7. …and stopped in with family and friends for some R&R

    Storytelling Video Interviews In Production
The trip was a huge success! I look am currently working on the final
video production and will share more about the journey and the completed imagery and videos. Stay tuned!! I look forward to more projects where I can travel this way - it was fun, exciting, challenging, and worth every bucket-list moment.
