The Challenge
Our assignment was to craft a visually engaging video for a community bank, Bruning Bank, in Nebraska, intertwining photography to narrate the story. Our approach centered on letting the community express the vitality of their surroundings and emphasizing the significance of a bank deeply ingrained in both the community and its success. Identifying key figures within the bank and the community, we set out to weave a compelling tale of Bruning, Nebraska, and the integral role played by Bruning Bank. Our meticulous planning included a flexible 3-day production schedule, allowing us to adapt the narrative as it evolved and new ideas emerged. Additionally, we captured striking portraits of each participant, intending to leverage them for social media and various marketing materials.
What We Accomplished
Our team demonstrated remarkable agility and adaptability throughout the production process. We engaged with a diverse and inspiring group of individuals and small businesses who passionately shared the narrative of Bruning, Nebraska, and the pivotal role played by Bruning Bank. Through a series of insightful interviews, we skillfully captured the essence of the community.
The abundance of recorded interviews and captivating photographs allowed us to go above and beyond the initial project scope. Our nimbleness enabled the creation of multiple videos, each offering a unique perspective on Bruning and its community bank. This wealth of content not only enriched the primary video but also provided Bruning Bank with a surplus of valuable marketing materials, exceeding the expectations set at the project's onset.
The Results
The video was designed for the Regional FHLBank of Topeka meeting where Bruning Bank was to be honored with the 2023 Community Leader Award. We went the extra mile by creating a teaser trailer to build anticipation, a 13-minute centerpiece video for the event, and two 2-minute videos focusing on specific topics. Responding to Bruning Bank's request, we also produced two 30-second television commercials tailored for their marketing use. This comprehensive approach ensured that the video content was not only engaging but also strategically aligned with the recognition and promotional needs of Bruning Bank.
